OVERVIEW
DigTix provides two billing systems: Basic and Enhanced. The basic billing system is designed to capture a single price based on the close code that is applied to each locate request. The enhanced billing system allows for itemized billing rates and automatically applied price adjustments based on when and how work is performed.
Each individual CDC may be configured to use the basic billing system or the enhanced billing system.

The information included in this article assumes a CDC that is configured with the basic billing system. For information regarding the enhanced billing system, refer to Billing System Configuration - Advanced.
NOTE: By default, only users which are configured with "Administrator" data permissions may view pricing information within DigTix.
CONFIGURE CLOSE CODE PRICING
If a different close code is applied at a later time, the price associated with the locate request will be updated to the price that is configured for the new close code.

MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES
Miscellaneous charges (or discounts) may be applied at any time on a per-CDC basis. This can be done via the "Miscellaneous Charges" section of the DigTix Administration page, as shown in the screenshot below.

REPORTING AND ANALYTICS
When a billing report is run within DigTix, the price of each locate request will be considered, based on the close code which is currently applied to each locate request. Miscellaneous charges will also be included on these reports.
COMING SOON: The DigTix Enterprise BI Suite will include billing datasets that will allow rich visualizations, integrated billing dashboards, and scheduled email report delivery.
