Irth Utilisphere Mobile Technical Requirements


Purpose/Overview:

This article explains the minimum device, account, and connectivity requirements needed to install and use the mobile app successfully.

What You Will Need:

To ensure the best experience, please make sure your device and account meet the following:

Account Access

  • Your account must have:
    • At least one Mobile Profile with assigned users, or
    • A Mobile Profile set as Default.

App Updates

  • Regular updates are provided through the App Store or Google Play, unless managed by an Information Technology (IT) department.

Authentication

  • Secure login using username/password or Single Sign-On (where applicable).

Device Compatibility

  • Hardware: Your device must support the two most recent versions of its operating system (Android or iOS).
  • Software: The app should run on one of the latest two versions available for your device’s platform.

Internet Connection

  • A stable internet connection is required for:
    • Downloading the app
    • Completing your first-time login
  • Network: Wi-Fi or mobile data connection required for full functionality.
  • Offline Mode: Certain features are available offline; data sync occurs when connectivity is restored.

Performance

  • For optimal performance, close unused apps and keep your device updated.

Recommendations

  • Permissions: Allow access to location, camera, and notifications for full functionality.
  • Battery Usage: Location services may increase battery consumption.
