Excavator Compliance allows a user to document awareness activities while in the field. When configured, this feature appears in these places:
- Ticket Response window
- Geo Data Viewer (Optional)
Modify Configuration
- On the top menu bar, click System Management ( ) > Administration > Ticket Management > Excavator Compliance
- On the Excavator Compliance page, in the upper right corner, click Modify Configuration
On the Excavator Compliance page, choose the settings for the Response screen and the Geo Data Viewer, as below
3a: Response ScreenCapture Excavator Education data?This feature only available if your company uses the Did you talk to Excavator? feature.
Status Description No You did not talk to the excavator Yes This option makes the question "Ticket Response" appear with the Messages Addressed dropdown list that indicates what you talked about (this is a standard list and cannot be customized):
- Appropriate Response
- Emergency Telephone Numbers
- Leak Recognition
- Markers and Signs
- OneCall Requirements
- Right of Way Encroachment Prevention
- Safety Precautions
When a Response is Added for a Ticket? (Track unreached attempts to contact excavator)Use this feature to keep track of the unreached (unsuccessful) attempts made to contact excavators. This feature is only available if your company uses the Did you talk to Excavator feature.
Unreached attempts to contact the excavator occur when you use the Did you talk to Excavator feature, but the excavator does not respond.
If you choose to keep track of unreached attempts, the system stores them in the Ticket Details > Ticket History
3b: Geo Data ViewerThis feature only available if your company uses the Did you talk to Excavator feature.
Click Yes to display excavator compliance data from 3a: Response Screen (above) on a map layer.
- Click Save
