VERSION: 26.1.4 These release notes also include updates from versions 26.1.0, 26.1.2, and 26.1.3.
WHAT'S NEW:
Native multi-capture camera session: You can now capture multiple photos in a single camera session as part of the core workflow, making photo collection faster and more efficient.
Persisted environment selection on login:The login screen now remembers your previously selected environment, making sign-in quicker and more convenient.
WHAT'S IMPROVED:
Better battery performance: We’ve improved how photos are handled in the app. After photos sync to the server, they’re now removed from the device instead of staying in the background. This helps reduce app size and improves battery usage.
Enhanced geocoding for field workflows:Esri geocoding has been improved to provide better performance and accuracy for field technicians.
Route view redesign:We’ve redesigned the Route view to provide a more streamlined and user-friendly experience when working with routes in the mobile app.
WHAT'S FIXED:
Attachment Handling Improvements: We’ve made several fixes to improve how attachments are uploaded, displayed, and managed.
Batch Actions & Related Items:Batch processing and related work item handling have been corrected.
Date and time accuracy: We’ve corrected inconsistencies related to time display.
Map Layer Display Fix:Hosted map layers now display correctly for all users.
Mobile App Stability & Performance Improvements: We’ve resolved multiple issues that could cause the mobile app to freeze, crash, or become unstable or unresponsive.
Notifications & System Errors: System-level errors and messaging have been improved.
Offline & Sync Reliability Enhancements:Offline work and syncing are now more consistent and reliable.
Photo capture and upload fixes: We’ve improved reliability when capturing and uploading photos as well as improving attachment handling to ensure uploads complete successfully.
Route workflow and navigation fixes:We’ve resolved multiple issues affecting route management and navigation.
Ticket status and sync accuracy: We’ve resolved several issues impacting ticket status consistency and syncing.
UI & User Experience Improvements:We’ve addressed several interface inconsistencies to improve usability, clarity, and screen behavior.
Work Item Data & Field Accuracy: We’ve improved accuracy and visibility when creating and updating work items as well as how work item information is saved, displayed, and updated.
Additional Fixes
Resolved issue where user profile updates were not reflected after re-login.
Fixed comment fields being unintentionally auto-populated.
Limited excessive attachment uploads to prevent performance issues.
Corrected inconsistencies in task counts and batch response behavior.
Fixed API-related issues affecting form layout and validation.
Mobile app updates are rolled out over a staggered schedule, so not all users receive the update at the same time. During the rollout, your app may update earlier or later than others on your team.
We expect this release to start rolling out on June 16, pending final approval and review by the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
