WHAT'S NEW:
Work Item Foundations: The foundations required for adding work item forms is being built into the application. For Clients who are signed up for BETA rollout, your BETA testing will take place soon.
WHAT'S IMPROVED:
Faster, more stable app performance: The app has been upgraded to a newer version of our core mobile platform, improving speed, stability, and responsiveness across supported iOS and Android devices.
More secure and reliable map layers: We've redesigned how the app authenticates and loads Esri map layers and rebuilt the underlying loading architecture, improving security and load speed while reducing crashes and server strain.
Faster task list loading: We've optimized how task data is fetched, improving speed and responsiveness when browsing tasks.
Faster loading with large attachments: Tasks with multiple large photo attachments now open significantly faster when editing.
Smoother screen rendering: We've resolved underlying styling inconsistencies that could cause slowdowns or visual glitches with attachment thumbnails and map icons.
WHAT'S FIXED:
Map Layer & Map View Fixes: We resolved issues where custom and hosted map layers failed to display or caused the app to crash, multiple location pins didn't appear, map views couldn't be panned or zoomed, map pins weren't clickable, and driving directions/route views didn't load correctly.
Attachment & Photo Handling Fixes: We corrected issues with landscape photo capture and orientation, adding attachments while offline, opening attachments added during work item creation, photo count limits, downloading photos from the Attachment tab, unselected attachments appearing after adding media, and camera crashes during orientation changes.
Batch Actions & Task Management Fixes: We fixed issues affecting ticket reassignment (including limited user lists), batch note actions, duplicate tasks appearing after re-login, reassign/move/share batch actions, and reopening closed tickets.
Offline & Sync Reliability Enhancements: We improved offline work item creation to prevent data loss, resolved delays and errors editing work items after syncing, and corrected outbox items syncing slower than expected.
Work Item Form & Data Accuracy Fixes: We resolved a range of issues across native work item forms, including data not saving or pre-populating correctly, incorrect field validation and error messaging, missing headings and field labels, duplicate entries, and forms failing to create or update for specific workflows such as Pipeline Patrol, Locate Audit, MDC Foreign Line Crossing, Encroachment, DJ Valve Inspection, Joint Meet, and Ameren Damage forms.
UI & User Experience Improvements: Addressed an incorrectly laid-out logout confirmation popup and improved overall app responsiveness on Android devices.
Additional Fixes
We fixed a ticket category badge displaying the wrong color in Task Summary after closing a ticket.
We resolved an issue where a user's profile name did not update after logging back in.
Mobile app updates are rolled out over a staggered schedule, so not all users receive the update at the same time. During the rollout, your app may update earlier or later than others on your team.
