Payroll Export with Company Field


Purpose/Overview

This article explains how to add a Company field to the Payroll export, allowing organizations to distinguish between employees from different companies. This helps streamline payroll processing, support multi-company reporting, and improve data visibility for administrative tasks.


To access this feature: Utilisphere > Analytics > Exports


Things to Know:

  • Permissions: You must be logged in as a company user with permission to request exports.
  • Limitations: Export limits and performance may vary depending on the date range and data volume.

  • Multi-company payroll processing: Easily identify and separate employees by company, reducing the risk of payroll errors.
  • Improved audit and compliance: Quickly generate company-specific payroll reports for internal audits or third-party compliance checks.

How It Works:

Follow these steps to request and download a Payroll export that includes the Company field:

  1. Navigate to Analytics > Exports

  2. Click the Request an Export button on the upper left side of the screen to start a new export request.


  3. Select the Export Format dropdown and scroll down to the Custom (Standard, csv) section and choose Payroll.

  4. Select the desired date interval for your export. Click on the export format (e.g., CSV or ZIP) to download the file. Click Save.
  5. If downloaded as a ZIP, extract the contents and open the CSV. The Company column will now appear in the report.
