Power BI in UtiliSphere

Monitor and analyze your ticket data with self-service dashboards

UtiliSphere's built-in Power BI reporting makes it easy to visualize ticket activity, locator performance, and operational trends—all without needing to leave the platform. Whether you're tracking open tickets or evaluating on-time completion, self-service reports give you the tools to make data-driven decisions.

Important: Reports automatically time out after periods of inactivity. Be sure to save your work often.

For insights on how to get started building reports and visuals, check out Creating Reports in Power BI: a step-by-step guide and the Power BI Training series.

Key Concepts

  • Power BI is embedded in UtiliSphere; the historical dataset is updated nightly, and the live dataset is updated hourly.
  • Live ticket records are available for a rolling 30 days
  • Reports use dimensions (categories or groupings such as types or dates) and measures (metrics like counts or durations).

? Due Time Accuracy: Unless you're using Ticket Due Time Overrides, the system uses the OCC-provided due time, which may affect report accuracy.
